Lionhead have released the opening cinematic for their upcoming action RPG, Fable III. This one exhibits the trademark humour that permeates the entire series as well as showing off the new industrial stylings they’ve given to Albion.
You might also want to think twice about all that chicken-kicking you’ve been doing in Fable II…

Ahaha love it! Sadly I can’t play these games as my love of thieving and hoarding anything that isn’t nailed down means I never progress beyond the first town. I’m looking at you too Fallout *scowls*.

a mate of mine has spent the last year trying to hoard every single collectable item in the game world in his house in Fallout 3 (PC) and slowdown doesn’t really do justice to what happens when that door swings open. I’ll try and get him to send me a screengrab.

If you have a somewhat up to date PC, it’s coming out on there as well…albeit they delayed it, but still, it’s what I’m doing.
That is of course if they don’t pull an Alan Wake and cancel the whole PC version altogether…

I have the free part of Fable II on my Xbox but I’ve never even started it up. I don’t even know what style of game it is.

It’s a 3rd person action game with swords, magic and ranged weapons that had an RPG back end on it that you never really need to worry too much about.
You have to grind a bit at times for jobs and stuff but the RPG stuff is not anywhere near the levels of a Final Fantasy or something like Dragon Age.

I don’t like the games to be fair but I very much like the age/time they’ve set this one in. We don’t see enough games during this industrial revolution-type era.

Fabulous, finally a game about the great chicken revolution (heh!). A great opening sequence, inspired by the Muppets and Jeunet perhaps? but awesome none the less.
