PSN Store Update: 20/07/11

[videoyoutube]The PSN Store update is a little light on content this week but there is a summer sale to talk about so we’ll let them off. That sale sees a whole flurry of price reductions in content, making many older classics like Moon Diver, Age of Booty and Wakeboard HD roughly half their original prices.

The biggest news has to be the arrival of Limbo, the hugely acclaimed platformer/puzzler with a sever lack of colours and an immense overstock of atmosphere. There’s a 20 percent discount on that if you’re a PS+ customer which brings the £9.99/€12.99 price down to an even more reasonable level.

Elsewhere, there are several Minis to download, including One Epic Game from Grip Games which promises to be quite entertaining.

We also get the Blood Symphony DLC pack for Bulletstorm, priced at £7.99.

  1. Thats pretty expensive for an ancient megadrive game.

Loads of the stuff on psn is overpriced if you ask me, considering what you pay for stuff on your phone or ipad.

  2. “Cadet i asked you a question, game pack.”
What’s the deal, help. Never heard of a game to link to this, also it says, eye camera required/eye camera optional?
(i actually remember watching that episode.)

    • Yoostar 2.

      • Thank you.
Normally it states which game is required, this & various other times it doesn’t. A strange way to advertise a product you’re trying to sell.

  3. Right, I’m feeling like a donkey.

How do I get past the giant spider in the tree in the Limbo demo?! LOL

    • Bear trap the motherfucker!

    • Let it miss you a few times and listen out for a clanking noise… ;)

  5. not much for me this week, well nothing infact. Not sure about Limbo. Also i just got LBP2 this week so was wondering if there are any level kits available yet?

    • All the Little Big Planet level kits work with LBP2, so yes, all of them.
And they’re all fantastic. My favourite is the Pirates one, but believe me- you won’t be disappointed with any of them.

  6. Dam you limbo! i only have 9.97 in the bank!
