Cast your mind back to, ooh, nine days in the past and you may recall Capcom saying that sales of Street Figher X Tekken had fallen short due to “the large number of other games in this genre that were launched within a short time.”
Their ingenious solution to that problem is to re-release the game alongside older Street Fighter titles and a ridiculously huge amount of bonus content. Check this lot out:
Games
Street Fighter X Tekken (including all character and Swap Costume DLC)
Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition (with all costume DLC)
Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix
Street Fighter III: Third Strike Online Edition
Video
New documentary Blu-ray that highlights the lifelong love affair fans have had with Street Fighter, and how their dedication has affected the game.
Street Fighter IV, Super SFIV anime movies
All episodes of the Street Fighter animated series
Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie
Light-up Ryu statue
Brand new statue with light up base. Eight inches tall and frozen in mid Shoryuken.
11 disc soundtrack
Game music from the past 25 years, including remixes and fan-created music.
64 page hardcover art book
Containing pieces from fans all over the world.
Ryu’s belt
Full size martial arts black belt for the aspiring World Warrior. Includes Ryu’s “Furinkazan” in kanji.
Certificate of Authenticity
Like any good collector’s set, this comes with a lovely piece of paper telling you how limited and special it is. They’re all individually numbered, so get one before they disappear!
The kollection (curses, wrong franchise, I mean collection) will retail for $149.99 on either Xbox 360 or PS3.
There will also be a tournament (details here) which will be held across the globe, including a bout at the Eurogamer Expo in London.

Funny that they just pretend that didn’t happen
Forrest_01
To be fair, i would. It is shockingly bad.
SpikeyMikey23
am i the only one who enjoyed it and has watched it more thatn once?
Forrest_01
Probably.
shields_t
That said, the animes are pretty sweet.
heedbaw
Looks good, surprised they missed a trick by not including a fight stick of some sort. Although granted that would probably double the price.
parryman
I’d be tempted by a vanilla games-only version. Not a fan of tat, err, I mean memorabilia.
tactical20
Same. I have Street Fighter IV and Super Street Fighter IV, but would really like the Arcade edition.
Haven’t picked up Street Fighter vs Tekken yet either, so would be all over a combo box set if it didn’t come with all the extra nonsense!

I want that statue on my desk. £95 though (from conversion so will probably end up more) is a lot!
DixNeuf
It’ll probably end up being £149.99…..
Sympo
Great for fans I guess, if its Under £100 then its tempting.
Mr-Flame-Head
I don’t believe this should be called a 25th anniversary edition when it doesn’t contain the original street fighter which release in 1987, the collection starts from street fighter 2 which released in 1991, only my personal opinion but I consider it a valid point
Forrest_01
Yeah, but likewise, i wouldn’t expect them to redo the original streetfighter for todays consoles just to include with this.
Mr-Flame-Head
they could just do a downloadable version of the turbografx version of the original similar to the how they released it on wiiware back in 2009
parryman
fair point

The Street Fighter II soundtrack was the first CD I ever owned. Think it came free with an issue of Mean Machines, lol!
