Everyoneâs now had some time to digest the events of the Playstation Meeting last week, which also means we can start getting excited for Microsoftâs Xbox event, currently rumoured to take place in April.
However, for now, rather than looking ahead, letâs take a quick look back at what’s happened on TSA in this weekâs Community Round-Up.
There’s not a lot of competitions going on right now, but TSAâs Black Ops 2 league is well underway, with week 2âs fixtures being posted earlier this week. You’ll also find the early results and some video of what went on included.
Skipping back to this week, Dead or Alive 5 is set to become free on PS+, so Motellaâs organised a meet on Friday at 7pm.
Hopefully the usual meets will pop up sooner rather than later, like GT5′s regular Monday shenanigans (which is now posted, maintenance willing). If you want to bulk things up a little then you can create your own Meet provided youâve got 250 TSA Points.
This week Blair reviewed Germinator, the PSN game from Creat Studios. He gave it a 6/10, concluding that while itâs not as good as PopCapâs games, it still offers âunique twist on the classic formula along with a bit of a challenge.â Jim followed with Dynasty Warriors 7 Empires, giving the game a 7/10, and described it as an improvement, but sadly not a milestone for the series.
As you can expect, Teflonâs been fairly busy, first previewing the indie title Wildfire Worlds, before getting his hands on the new Star Trek game. Peter also took a look at the Dead Space graphic novels and art book in a neat video feature.
The blogs and features have been a tad quiet, with just Alex explaining why he thinks itâs better for Sony to release GT6 on the PS3, rather than the PS4. He also ponders on “freemium” and how it might affect consoles in future, as well as what further revelations Next Gen might bring.
Chiile_UK showed off his gaming collection in the Chronicle, while Need for Speed: Most Wanted became the next WeView game for you to comment on. The Walking Dead walked away with 18 âBuy Itâ recommendations in this weekâs Verdict, so thatâs definitely one to pick up if you have the time.
The Podcast took a break after last weekâs double dose, so we finish off with Greg, who has What We Played #94 as usual.
Letâs take a look at the TSA Forums now:
- Mugglemind is looking for a few friends to play multiplayer games on Vita with.
- Spikeymikey shares what he thinks is the ultimate âgoat versionâ.
- Roynaldo wants to know your suggestion for what he should add to his Blu-ray collection.
- TSAgents have been quite regularly chipping in with their own Youtube videos.
- And lastly, OrigamiKiller asks if anyone writes any short stories?
Thatâs it for another week, Iâll see you next time, bye!
