Community Round-Up: 10/11/12

Welcome TSAgents! It’s been a while as I’ve had a short break, but I’m back in business for this week’s Community Round-Up!

The F1 TSA Championship continues and you should expect the latest update later today, or take a look at last week’s happenings if you missed it.

Also up for grabs is some lovely Mass Effect gear, just leave a 7 word comment containing an ‘n’ in every word and the N7 gear could be yours! Well, if the magical picks you as the winner.

Jumping in with the Meets now, let’s see what’s coming up this week:

Tomorrow we have the usual DiRT Showdown Meet starting at 6pm, hosted by R1MJAW, while if you feel the need for speed, you should put your name down for OnlineAssassin’s NFS: Most Wanted Meet later at 8pm.

Monday sees Forrest hosting the usual Max Payne 3 Meet at 9pm. The second DiRT Showdown Meet takes place on Tuesday at 8pm, again hosted by Forrest.

There’s also an Assassin’s Creed 3 Meet for Friday at 8pm, which has already been put up by element666. You should probably expect to see Red Dead Redemption pop up too, as that usually takes place on Fridays.

You can always create your own Meet, provided you have at least 250 TSA Points.

Let’s switch it up this time and start with a Preview this week, and as usual it’s Teflon, this time taking a look at Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse.

Al mixes things up for LittleBigPlanet Karting’s review, as a patch meant he couldn’t do a full review for day 1. So instead he has a “Should-you-buy-o-meter” style article to help you decide if LBPK is for you. Similarly, Tuffcub pits MUD and WRC3 for Vita head-to-head, with the two games battling it out for the win.

More traditionally, Street Fighter X Tekken (Vita) gets 6/10 from Jim, followed by the PSN game When Vikings Attack, which Peter gave an 8/10. WWE fans should read Dan’s WWE ‘13 review which received a 6/10.

As for other articles, Peter shared his thoughts about the GTA V hype train and Rockstar’s trickling PR releases, whilst Kris asked what would be this generation’s legacy?

We also have two rather new features in the form of CC’s Bargain Weekend, a weekly pulling together of some of the best deals in gaming you can try and get a hold of over the weekend. Alongside this was Friday Fun, yesterday afternoon, pitting yourself again a fiendish quiz crafted by Lewis. The answers can easily be revealed at the bottom now, but you can always give it a go to see how many correct answers you get before you cave in!

Rounding us out we have the Chronicle featuring XisTG’s rig. WeView concluded for Dragon’s Dogma, and started up an investigation on Binary Domain. Then there’s also the Podcast, and What We Played #78 from Greg.

Finishing up, let’s take a look at the Forums.

That’s it once again for this week, next week is sure to be busy with arguably this year’s biggest game launching on Tuesday. Have fun if you’re getting it, otherwise I’ll see you next week.
