Community Round-Up: 20/04/13

This week has gone like a flash – perhaps because I’ve been stuck inside working while the weather has been surprisingly nice! TSA’s also been a bit quiet this week, but let’s get it all covered in this week’s Community Round-Up!

Let’s begin with the Meets. Motalla invites you all to return to Burnout Paradise at 7pm tomorrow, while the usual Gran Turismo 5 Meet takes place at 7pm on Monday night, hosted by Manorhowze. Sticking with Monday, R1MJAW continues to host the Tomb Raider meet at 8pm, while Motella hosts a Modern Warfare 2 meet at 8pm on Tuesday.

R1MJAW returns on Wednesday night for the second weekly Tomb Raider meet at 8pm, as Motella is back on Thursday at 8pm for some Motorstorm madness.

Keep checking for the usual Bad Company meet which will probably pop up during the week, and maybe a few others if we’re lucky. And as always, you can create your own Meet provided you’ve got 250 TSA Points.

It looks like it’s been a quiet week on TSA. We had just a pair of reviews, with Al giving LEGO City: The Chase Begins a 6 out of 10, and Dom awarding Fire Emblem: Awakening a much more appealing 9.

There was also just the one new Preview, coming from Teflon who had a look at FIFA 14, which I’m sure many of you are interested in. He also spoke to Producer Nick Channon about the game.

Last week, Sitorimon showed off his impressive collection of games in the Community Chronicle. Meanwhile, Hitman: Absolution received 12 ‘buy it’ votes in last week’s WeView Verdict, so you should definitely consider picking it up or having a go at it when it’s released later in PS+. DmC: Devil May Cry became the next game for you to vote on, so get cracking!

On the more bloggy side of things, Peter told us the Top Ten things Tomb Raider taught him, while Origami Killer shared his opinion that sometimes it’s better to stay quiet, and way back on Monday Al reflected on the Two Year Anniversary of the PSN Hack. Oh, and a special shout out to Tuffcub’s investigative nose, for digging up this kinky news yesterday, and Blair for his in depth round up of the Nintendo Direct stream.

Rounding things off is Episode 97 of the Podcast, and Kris’ attempt at What We Played, as he covers for Greg who’s taking a well deserved rest after the 100th What We Played.

Let’s head on into the Forums. The front page has been a tad quiet this week, perhaps that’s why the Forums are nice and busy!

And once again that ends the round-up for this week, I’ll see you next time, bye!

Gazza stuck his head round the door, just to throw this at Steven’s head in paper aeroplane form. He missed. Steven didn’t even notice. Thank heavens nobody decided to mention this affront to him, he’d flip his lid!
