All the headlines from the 13th February Nintendo Direct

 

Last night’s Nintendo Direct was a lightning round of announcements, and while we covered a bunch of them as individual news stories at the time, there was so much that slipped through the cracks. Here’s a round up of all the headlines, but first, the Nintendo Direct itself:

Super Mario Maker 2 announced for Nintendo Switch.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate v3.0 is coming this spring.

Catch the new trailer for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, which will sport four player co-op on TV, with local or online systems, and is pencilled in for a summer release.

Captain Toad Treasure Tracker gets a full co-op play today and DLC in March.

Check out the new trailer and try the demo for Yoshi’s Crafted World.

BOXBOY! + BOXGIRL! is a new co-op BOXBOY adventure, coming out on 26th April

The Nintendo Direct just dropped a ton of Fire Emblem: Three Houses – now out in July.

Tetris 99 is like Tetris Battle Royale, and it’s free with Nintendo Switch Online.

Dead By Daylight is coming to Switch. I don’t know why.

Oninaki is the next JRPG from the developers of I Am Sastuna & Lost Sphhear.

Here’s a trailer for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.

New Star Fox missions are coming to Starlink in April.

There’s a free demo now available for DAEMON X MACHINA.

Dragon Quest Builders 2 arrives on 12th July for Switch.

Dragon Quest XI S is a special Switch version with new stories and a classic 2D sprite mode. It’s out this autumn.

Assassin’s Creed III Remastered (with Liberation bundled in) is coming to Switch on 21st May

Disney TSUM TSUM FESTIVAL announced for Switch sometime this year.

Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is coming to Switch this spring

Astral Chain is another Switch exclusive coming from PlatinumGames

Final Fantasy IX is out now for Switch, while FFVII is coming on 26th March and Chocobo’s Mystery Dungeon on 20th March

Unravel Two is coming to Switch on 22nd March

Rune Factory 4 Special is being ported to Switch hand Rune Factory 5 is in development

Deltarune, from the makers of Undertale, was announced, and the first chapter will be free on 28th February.

And finally, The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening is getting a super cute Nintendo Switch remake.
