Save up to 78% in the new PlayStation Store sale and or pick up something in the Games Under £4 sale

Once again there is a new sale on the PlayStation Store and once again the PlayStation Blog / PlayStation Store have screwed up somewhere. According to the PlayStation Blog there are sales for Games under €20 or Games under €10, but the actual store has sales for Games Under £13 or Games Under £4, with different games listed. It does appear that all the sales are running at once, god knows why or for how long.

There are no listings for the Games Under £13 or Games Under £4 sales but you can find them here and here. There’s also the Days of Play Sale and the Totally Digital Sale, in fact you would be hard pushed to find a game that’s not in sale on the PlayStation Store at the moment, there appears to be at least nine deals and offers on.

On to the new sale then which, according to the PlayStation Blog, offers a discount of up to 70% on some top games. I thought I would check, you know, just in case they had a rare screw up, and the first title I clicked on, Alekhine’s Gun, has 78% off, not 70%.

Here are the games with discounts of up to 78%, quite possibly even more.

According to the blog this week’s Deal of the Week is for ARK: Survival Evolved , although if you look at the Store the deal of the week is for Dragon Ball Fighterz, both seem to be valid. Go figure.

Now on to the game Games under €20 sale.

And finally, the Games under €10 bargains.

  1. I didn’t spot anything i wanted in the sale but on a whim i searched the store and discovered that the Prey Mooncrash dlc is 50% off , that’ll do nicely!

    • You just reminded me I was going to give Prey a go. The PS Now for £60 offer tempted me, and it’s on there. And I’m determined to get my money’s worth out of it. (Actually, it’s not hard. A whole load of stuff I never got around to buying, and things I wouldn’t normally bother with for a fiver a month? Bargain)

  2. The “under £13” and “under £4” sales are the last lot of sales and end tonight. At 11:59PM (since apparently people can’t handle things ending at midnight and get all confused by what day it is)

    The €20 and €10 sales (£18 and £9, maybe?) are there, but the page with them all collected together hasn’t been put on the store yet. It’ll happen some time today, as it usually does. They’re running for 2 weeks.

    It happens every time. They put the games on sale on Wednesday morning, running until 11:59 on a Wednesday evening a week or 2 later. So there’s an overlap with the sales ending after the new sales start.

    And then after the sale prices go live, the blog announces it and then eventually the store has them all collected in one place. Unless the blog announces it after the collection appears. And the web store may update before the console store. Because it’d be too simple otherwise.

    It’s simple really. Sales start up to 24 hours before the last one ends, and the blog and store collect them all together at some point whenever they can be arsed to do it. And handy websites such as psprices.com are available that list everything before Sony bother telling anyone (although that doesn’t tell you what random name they’ve come up with for the sale this week)

    • On the “up to 70% except it’s possibly more” list, there’s Battlezone, which is definitely worth £6.49.

      And if you want a nice relaxing fishing thing, Catch & Release is £8.
