Today means there are just 66 days until E3 2016! It’s usually about this time we start to hear about the first few rumours coming out from the leaky ship. With a few of the big publishers deciding to skip E3 this year, what impact do you think that will have? Of course, TSA will always be here to make sure you’re updated on whatever leaks do come out.
Well, with nothing else to say, let’s start this week’s Community Round-Up!

Dave brought us our top game this week, which was Dark Souls III. Giving it a 9/10, he said it had more of the “intensely difficult combat, ambiguous overarching story, and some striking locales” that fans will expect and love. You can also see some footage of him playing it here, as he talks to Tef about the game.
Next up, and after 6 months and 5 episodes, Minecraft: Story Mode has reached its conclusion-ish. Looking back over the entire series, Stefan gave it an 8/10 overall, praising the “imaginative adventure through a Minecraft world” that Telltale has created, especially when Minecraft had nothing to start with. Aran gave a solid 7/10 to Candlelight, a platformer that sees you taking the role of a candle to light other candles that have been snuffed out by a mysterious monster.
Following that, the scores took a bit of a dive to 4/10 for Casey Powell Lacrosse 16 with Jim saying the two biggest issues were the “frustrating controls and an almost nonexistent learning aide”. The last review was for Episode 2 of Blues and Bullets, which returns after an 8 month wait. Aran was impressed by certain parts of the game so far, but decided it was better to wait for the next episode before saying if it was worth a recommendation or not.
Moving on to the previews, and this week saw a lot of excitement regarding the upcoming Uncharted 4. Tef wrote about his experiences with the game so far, and you can also see for yourself how the open landscapes offer more variety. Arne Meyer also revealed some interesting tidbits in his interview, as Miguel looked at The Banner Saga 2, which picks up exactly where the first game left off.
The much anticipated Final Fantasy XV is now a step closer, with Square Enix releasing the Platinum demo to show fans exactly what they’ve been waiting for. Dom went hands on with the demo, and shared his thoughts. Judging from the comments, a lot of you have also been trying it out, although not everyone is enamoured with it. On the subject of trying things out before their release, the Doom beta also graced our consoles this week and Tuffcub shared his impressions of the multiplayer modes available.
Lastly, Kris looked at The Turing Test, a puzzle shooter set on Europa, for our first preview out of Rezzed. With crisp visuals and an interesting story line, it has Kris hooked ahead of its summer release. Mobile Watch this week looked at Total War Battles: Kingdom. It’s Creative Assembly’s take on the F2P genre on mobiles, and Jim had a look at the game to see if it stands up to the series’ high standards.
From the features, Stefan mixed and mingled on the red carpet at the BAFTA Game Awards, while asking various questions to celebrities, including host Dara O’Briain, through Nintendo’s Miitomo app. Elsewhere, last weekend’s Chronicle explored more PS4K rumours, and the modification of a suggestive character pose in Overwatch following complaints.
Finishing up, Aran appeared on Episode 216 of the Podcast, bringing with him the latest industry news, while What We Played #248 featured DOOM, Quantum Break, and Dark Souls III.

Time to open up the Forums and have a look! They’ve been pretty quiet though!
- Del continues his love for Trackmania Turbo, while Fillip2k has built a new gaming rig in what are you playing?
I’ve got a quiet weekend ahead of me without much sport (other than the Grand National) to keep me interested, so hopefully I’ll spend a bit of time going through my backlog. Let me know what are you plans, and if you’re up to anything interesting! Bye!
