EyePet Signals New PS3 Box Design

32Amazon’s listing for EyePet seems to show a new style of boxart for the PlayStation 3, and whilst the cover might well not be final and subject to change (and is missing a few key branding elements on the spine) it does appear to be an official design. What’s more interesting is a complete lack of PlayStation branding apart from the PS logo at the top left and the PlayStation Eye mark below.
We checked our various European press sources this morning for a definitive answer but EyePet was, for some reason, missing from the schedules and we couldn’t find any official boxart apart from that shown on Wikipedia that was released some time ago. This wouldn’t be the first time Amazon has uploaded images that haven’t turned out to be the real thing, mind, but we’ll no doubt hear more in Cologne.
