Once again, the past week seems to have flown by, though the long weekend might have had something to do with it. There’s been loads of news this week; fresh figures for the console war, rumours of a few last-gen games expected to appear on the new-gen consoles, and not to mention the yearly COD hype train appears to be firing up!
Anyway, it’s time to put your feet up as we revisit the past seven days in this week’s Community Round-Up.

TSA’s FIFA 14 Ultimate Team Competition is hotting up nicely now, with the group stages almost over. Head on over to Tony’s post to see the fixtures for this week and how the tables currently stand.
Once again we’ve got no Meets scheduled, so let’s dive straight in with the Reviews. Aran pitched in with MLB 14 The Show, giving it an 8/10 and describing it as a “must buy for baseball fans”, although those unfamiliar to the sport may find some fun in it too.
Another game to get an 8/10 was Episode 2 of Broken Sword 5. This episode finished off the story well, although Stefan felt it would have been far better to have done the game as a single release rather than two halves.
While not quite a review, Greg looked at Dead Nation on Vita, which seems to have perfectly transitioned to the console, complete with leaderboards and online co-op too.
Another game that seems to have aced the move from home consoles was Hitman GO, which Blair looked at on Mobile Watch, while Game of Thrones Ascent also made an appearance thanks to Jim.
On PlayBack, Jim then revisited Hotline Miami, as Pixel Piracy appeared on Indie Focus from Gamoc. Meanwhile, Blair blogged about the challenges of playing Trials Fusion, and also continued his adventures in Tamriel.
Focusing on the Community articles now, the Chronicle talked about March’s NPD results and The Crew’s dual currencies in Hot Topics. On WeView, Killzone Shadow Fall received mixed praise in its Verdict, while Call of Duty: Ghosts is the latest game for you to share your views on.
Among other things, Trials Fusion was talked about in both Episode 138 of the Podcast and also featured in What We Played #153 alongside Shadow Fall, Thief and more.

Once again, all the discussion seems to be going on within old threads, so I’ll post a few here that appear to have been the busiest!
- The ‘what are you playing‘ thread is still going strong,
- And there’s plenty of talk about Meets for The Last of Us DLC, Modnation Racers Road Trip, and MotoGP 2013, as I ask if anyone would be up for a L4D2 meet after playing last weekend with Avenger.
- Lastly, if you want to keep up to date with the Ultimate Team tournament, there’s no place better than the forum thread where all the results are posted.
Well that’s this week’s Round Up done and dusted, so I’ll see you soon, bye!
