In the News This Week

Games in Review

The gaming year is off to one hell of a start,

Reviewed platform in bold.

This Week’s Features

Only a handful of features outside of the slate of reviews, as I went and tried to found a colony on Mars in Surviving Mars.

Jake revisited World to the West for Nintendo Switch, finding an interesting top-down adventure with a few little flaws on the hybrid console, while Jim shared his personal journey through the Monster Hunter series.

Hot on the heels of some rumours and speculation surrounding Microsoft potentially buying EA, Bluehole or Valve, we debuted a new feature called Mass Debatediscussing Xbox Game Pass and how Microsoft can try to recover in terms of first party exclusives.

Finally, we have the usual What We Played, featuring Monster Hunter: World, Destiny 2 and Assassin’s Creed Origins.

  • Jag was another to grab the platinum in AC Origins, just in time for Monster Hunter to consume him.
  • MrYd, meanwhile, is getting bored of collecting question marks in AC Oranges.
