Finally, the World’s most talked about release date over the last month or so has finally been confirmed, Battlefield 1943 will be release next week. “Drum roll please!” said the official Twitter account. “BF1943 will release next week the 8th for X360 & the 9th for PS3!” God bless those 140 character limits.

I quite liked that feature actually. I must admit it must have been a bit pointless for those that had to post it. Why can’t they reliably release PSN dates?

I am definitely going to be getting this. It’s a bit like Warhawk but, you know, a bit more real.

Loved the Battlefield series, from the Battlefield 1942 and “Desert Storm” mod on PC, to Modern Combat and Bad Company on the consoles.
Expect TSA community events with this one.

I’ve only just got into Battlefield: Bad Company, and I’m really enjoying that at the moment. (A bit late to the party I know!!)
This looks good, so I can see myself getting this as well. The 43m network kills to unlock an additional map is a nice touch also!
