Something for the Weekend – 02/05/20

We made it through to May (not that anyone is checking their calendars these days), and it’s usually about now that the E3 hype train starts to build up a head of steam. Obviously that won’t be happening this year, but with Ubisoft announcing Assassin’s Creed Valhalla this week and Microsoft showing off some new games next Thursday, at least we can start getting excited for the next-gen consoles.

It was a quiet week for the previews – I guess it’s trickier without devs being able to host preview events – so we just had Dom taking at look at Octopath Traveller on Stadia. For a game that was previously a Switch and then PC exclusive, opening up now on Stadia “might even be the best place to play it”.

Other than that, What We Played featured Gears Tactics, Final Fantasy VII Remake & Streets of Rage 4.
