It was a very busy week in the gaming world, perhaps the busiest of 2022 so far. We found out more about the upcoming PlayStation Plus Tier offerings, leaks and announcements, and a dollop of reviews and previews too.

It wasn’t just a busy week for the reviews, we had a healthy dose of previews too! Dom kicked things off with a look at Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds, which is released on mobile this coming Wednesday, while Jim dove into Dolmen for a look at how this shapes up compared to other Soulsborne games.
Nic brought us three previews, starting with the “incredibly atmospheric” The Red Hood, before looking at something much less scary, Outcore. This game sees a sprite ‘living’ in your computer desktop, after which he went hands on with award-winning Sucker for Love: First Date.
The top prize though goes to Stefan, who galloped in with four reviews for our enjoyment. After beginning with the enchanting and mystical Among the Trolls, things kicked into gear with Stray Blade, an action-RPG that’s one to keep an eye on. He shared his thoughts on Escape Academy, which he said accurately replicates the feeling of an escape room, before heading to Santo Ileso to check out how the new Saints Row Reboot stands up.
And to finish all of that, What We Played featured Evil Dead, Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising & Apex Legends Mobile.

Your Achievements
Here’s what you in our community have been up to this week:
- Aside from the grinding, MrYd is still enjoying Elden Ring, and it’s the same story for Gran Turismo 7.
- willbuchanan got the platinum for My Name Is Mayo 3, and is also making good progress in Mercenaries 2 and LEGO Worlds.
- TSBonyman was also on the Elden Ring train, but got stuck on the Rennala battle. Thankfully helpful co-op players came to the rescue and got him over the hump, giving him fresh resolve to complete the rest of the game solo.
